WFLLINUTON, Friday. The Premier left for Auckland in the Te Anau this afternoon. Up to the end of March two million four hunched and eighty thousand con solidated debentures of New Ztaland were brought in for conversion under the terms offered, which have been dc«cril>eil previously. The option to convert closes at the end of April.
CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. Mr C. C. Bowen, Chairman of the West Coast Railway Committee, has received a telegram from the delegates in London, stating that the railway u in hand with people of an influential character, and that its prospects are hopeful, but that delay has been occasioned by the state of affairs with Russia.
