Tv the House of Commons to-day the Hon. Evelyn Ashley, Undersecretary for tli ' Colonies, announced that the Government had received information from the C.ipe, that Colonel Warren had succeeded in effecting a settlement of the native difliculty in Stellaland, and was hopeful that he would be able to arrive at a Pacific arrangement of affairs in the Land of (loshen and Bechuanaland.
