At the Rifle Association to-day, heautiful weather was experienced, and good progiess was made. There ai c seventeen prizes, as follows : —1 prize of £10, 1 of £7, 1 of £6, 1 of £3, 1 of £4, 1 of £3, 1 of £2, Bof £1. This match was not completed at a quarter-past six to-night, but there are only 40 men to finish. The highest scorers so far are as follows, and it is probable tint each of those mentioned will be prize takers, but of course the corcct list cannot be made up until the whole of the men have fired : — Seaman Howe, Wellington Navals . 88 Volunteer Churton, Wanganui Rifles 87 Volunteer lientley, Masteiton Rifles 80 Wednesday. Tho weather is fino for shooting. The Hawke's Bay match was completed at 11.30 a.m. Lucah, Thames, winning with a tine scoie of !)3 out of a possible 100. The following weie the chief prize- wiuneis.
