The exhibits to be ananged by a sub-committee of tlnee, elected bj the geneial committee. 2. All exhibits ate to bo labelled with a staled envelope, the number of the e\ hibit out&ide, and c\hibitois name inside. 3. No one to act as judge in any class in w hich he may be an exhibitor. 4. Any protest must be made in wi iting as soon aa the awards aie made known, otherwise the decision of the judges shall be final. 5. Prizes to be given in proportion to the income of the Society, and the schedule to be published at least six weeks before the time appointed for the show. 6. Non-sub&cubiTS may exhibit in any class on pa> incut of 2s Gd, and be entitled to free admission. 7. All exhibits not claimed by the owners at the close of the show will be sold by auction, and the proceeds devoted to the funds of the association. 8. No exhibitor to be present while the awards are being made. 9. No exhibit to be removed until the close of the show. 10. Ihe committee to receive and .stage any exhibits forw aided to them (carnage pud) by cxhibitois who cannot attend

personally. 11. No exhibitor to com|>ete for more than one prize in each cl iss, with the same variety; and nothing to lie shown unless it has been the bon i lide piopeity of the exhibitor for two montlis before the show . Any exhibitor violating this rule to be disqualified. 12. That the judges be empov\eied to withhold prizes horn any class which may be considered as unworthy of leward. 13. That competitors be lequircd to ha\e the name of each specimen, as far as known, plainly written and atUched to the same. 14. That the place of exhibition be open the day pie\iou-t<> the show trom 12 noon to 9 p.ni , and on the following clay to 9 a.m. for the leception of exhibits, aftei \> hich no exhibit will be ad mitted, and the place to be closed by ten o'clock. The show to bo open to the public at one o'clock. Id. The definition of the Classes shall be as follows: — Class 1, All Comeis; Clai>s 2, Amateurs ; Class, 3, Cottagers, Ar twins, and Day Laboums. In Class 2 nn Amateur shall be considered as one who only employs occasional assistance. Class 3 bhall be considered those who cultivate their exhibits personally. IG. Exhibitors to give notice to the secietaiy thiee days (Knday, 13th Match) befoiu the day ot show of the classes, they piopose to complete in. Rules for the Guiiance of Judges. 1. Judges are at liberty to cut or taste fruit or vegetables, and their decision in .ill cases shall be final as to incut. 2. In cases of disqualification or nonawaid, judges ate to note on their lists, the reasons for uch disqualification or non-auaid. 3 Judges shall have power to award cxtia pti/cH only where there ii decided merit, and wheie thde is no class open in the . schedule in which the specimen might be exhibited. 4. Whcie there is but one exhibitor in a class, iind the exhibit is of merit, the judges aie to award a fiis>t or second prize, or commendation, as they may think fit. 5.
