Thcv complained of the apathy of the board m this this matter. It seemed as if Hie board were lient on allowing another season to pass without commencing the woik. —Mr C.un.ieh.m pointed out that the street w. is dimply getting «oise eveiyd.iy, and that in fiont of his door it was being gi.idu.illy wax bed a way. — The chairman and inciiibcis •idimtU'd the necessity of tinwork, but owing to the fact that the deed of indemnity had not been piopeily signed nothing could be done. — The chairuiiin pointed out wherein the deed was deficient —After ,i little discus-ion the deed w.us taken in hand once more by the deputation to procure the necessary signatures.
