Fresh conditioned store steers were also at full \ dines, but cow« and coarse steers were at low prices. Fat cattle were in less than usual number, and prices rallied fully 10s each higher than last week. Sheep were in full number, but | better worth about 2s each, and all brought forward sold. Lambs were in short supply. Best pens brought from 9s to 12s each. Fat calves were plentiful, but sold well. Pigs were also in fully supply, and in better demand than for several weeks. Mrssrh. Hun run and Nolw's Wkkki.^ Rkpobt. — Horne» : The market has been moderately actne, and a good many changed ha-ids at highly improved values. The Durham Yards were well filled on Friday, nnd there wa» a good attendance of buyers. The P.»te:v horses were the principal attraction, and competition was steady throughout the sale. We quote hacks, from £3 10* to £18 ; light harness horses, £10 5«. to £lli 10s ; draught, from £20 to £30. Wool, hides and sftiiw : But a small supply of wool sold .it (longwnnl, greasy) from r>ld to 7d i>er lb ; merino, 9d . hides, 2fd t<> 4sd p»>r lb ; calf•kinff, 4^d per lb ; sheepskins, from lOd to 2s Bd each. Cattle : There has ln'en a very Urge supply of fat cattle, and an adequate one lot otner descriptions, Prices for fat beasts were a shade lower, but other descriptions maintained the previous week's values. The Newinaiket yards were largely supplied on Tuesday with fat beasts, andthffo was a fair muster of other descriptidd»; prices depressed.
