The l>ijjj"y wai iinsuhod, and Mr Halcombe and Mrs O'Hallmnn were sorely bruised and shaken. Mr T. W. Mayson happened to be near the spot, and assistance being piocured, the sufferers were com eyed to the Oxford Hotel, wherri they received every attention, and a mes*eni?er was despatched to Canibiidgo foi Dr. Cu4>ny. On that gentlemen uri ivmg he found^ that Mr Halcombe, thonifh severely bruised, had gono on to Lichh'eld. Mr« O'Hallnnin *a^ found to be -ie\orely bnused on the left arm, but th°, doctor w<ih of opinion that no bones were broken, although the limb was too much swollen foi him to be positive.
