MR BRIGHT ON IMPERIAL FEDERATION. London, January, 30.
Mr John Blight addressed a crowded meeting of his constituents at Birmingham to-day. In the course of his speech ho referred at length to the questions of annexation and federation, and deprecated any increase of Empire lie alluded in terms of ridioulo to the idea of Imperial federation, but strongly urged that sj'inpathy and goodwill should be manifested by the Mother Country in her dealings w ith the colonies.
