Pigs —A small number yarded. The de mand was brit-k, and clearances were effected at high values. Cattle—A large entry of store cattle was submitted. A decided improvement took place in the demand, and nearly all foi ward were cleared at enhanced rates. There was a good entry of excellent beef, but as usual the bulk was dt-po-ed of privately, and if the small number submitted to auction may be taken as a criteiion, we can report no change in \ allies. Good quality realised 20s per lOOlbs ; fat cows, £5 Ti-, £1) 10s, £7 L's (id and £7 13.; bullocks, £l> ."is, £'t; 10s, £7 Mid £8 ss.
