Sin,— l am informed that tho Waipa Cnunty Council have resolved to ask Mi Nmtli, ths lovv<>ht tenderer for McXiceol s culvert, at what price he will nnde-take to build a culvert on an altered plan ami under different conditions This us not fair to other tenderers, and I think fresh tenden should be called for. I understand that Mr Xoith put down 15s per yard for c> ueteti'. Wh all know thai this cannot possibly pay for even the material, so that giving him .1 fresh chance to tender m not fair t > other* Thu council, if not accepting a tendei, should decidedly call for frenh ones.
