None of us owners of property between Mr Cockerlino's and the Pumu ha\e been consulted as to whether we would consent to tho nbovo scheme being carried out 01 not, and I have sufficient authoiity to s,ay that nothing •hurt of buying us all out will ever gam our consent to any such thing. I am sorry to take up so much of your valuable space, but I think it only right that the Council should know a little more about tho matter before they are induced by inteiested parties to expend money fiom the public purse on a schtmo that can ne\ er be carried out.
