Meuiournk, December 23.— Tho Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited) reports of the local market as follows : —Wheat, 3s 5d to 3a Cd, with rather more enquiry at reduced prices. Malting barley, 4s to 4s Id, and slightly improved tendency. Now Zealand oats : Feeding borts sluggish at 3s 4d to 3s 7d ; miilinr ditto dull at 3s 7d to 3a Bd. New Zealand oats under bond slow of Baie at 2s 9d to 2s lid. LONDON M YWKhrK. London, December 22nd.— Consols, have fallen i and are now quoted at «K&— New Zealand securities are unchanged.— The market rate of discount has declined to 4 per cent., and is now 1 per cent, below tho bank rate.— Tho markets for colonial producers are unchanged.
