A Locomotive Engine. TENDERS are invited for the PURCHASE of a LOCOMOTIVE, now lying at Waiorongomai, Te Aioha Goldfields. This engine, which is geared to 16-h.p. (nominal), was built at the Thames by Messis. Price Bros, to order of the Piako County Council for use on the County Tramway, but has never been used and is now offered for sale, the Council having decided to use horse-power instead of steam.
