Any pig or goat found running at lai^e in any part ot the county n.ay be impounded by anj poison in any public pound ot in any cnolostuc specially appointed for the put pose by the Council ami publicly notified. Mtuh enclosme shall, for the put pose of this by-law only, be deemed a public pound, and the like fees and damages shall be payable in respect of any pigs or goats impounded theiein as in the case of a public pound. 2. The owner of any pig or goat found running at laige as aforesaid shall be deemed guilty of ,\n offence, and shall upon comiclionioifeit and pay, in addition to the fees and damages mentioned in section I of this by-law, a sum not exceeding £1 for eveiy pit? or goat so found tunning at laige, to be lecovered in the manner provided by the 208 th section of " The Counties Act, 1876."
