Bovme Prince's she is the illustrious stud horse Piince, the property of Mrs Nimmo, Otago. Prince, for purity of breeding and as a getter of pi ize stock, is unequalled in the colonies ; his stock having been sold for higher pi ices than ever was obtained for any other horse's stock in Otago. Piince is a bright bay, stands 16^ hands high ; sire, Prince Charlie (imported) ; dam, Prinoi hs Maud the Ist (imported). Prince's hiie, Piince Chailie, dark bay, foaled 1833, of the pure Clydesdale breed, impoited frwin Scotland by J. and M. Macintosh, where lie had been exhibited seven times and gained seven first prizes. Piince's dam, Prince 38 Maud the Ist, bay, foaled 1533, imported from Scotland by J. and M. Macintosh In Scotland, Princess Maud gained IS prizes, including a Silver Medal in Glasgow, when a three-year old, against all ages. Gipsy, Bonnie Piince's dam, her siie the eelebiated hoise Kmpeior. ISmpeior has gained three first and three second prizes. Eoipeior's siie Napoleon, imported by the late J. Nimmo, gained lirst pi be at the TSuuklyvo and Gartmoie Agricultural Society's show as a twoyear old. Bonnie Piince, foaled IS7D, is .1 bcauti fnl bright bay, compactly built and of very supenor action, and has proved himself a sure foil getter, and has gained the following prizes : —First at the Dunedin Agnculttual Show, ISSO ; first prize Taieii Agiicultuial Show, 1880; fiist prize Dunedin Show, 1881 ; first prize Taieri Show, ISBI ; and same day first prize for best draught entire horse in the yaid ; riist prize Dunedin Show, 18S2 ; fiist prize Taieii Show, 18S2, and first prize for best entiie hoi so on the ground, any age ; also, first prize Palmerston Show, 18S2; and first pii/e Blucbkin Show, 18S2, and same day first prize for best horse or marc on the grouud, thus finishing his show career up to date unbeaten.
