CAMBRIDGE DAIRY PRODUCE AND BACON FACTORY.
The contractors have now finished their work, and the factory, complete and in working order, will be handed over to the directors either to-d:\y or to-morrow, when the plant will be tested for the first time. The factory is generally admitted to be the best and most complete in the Waikato, everything having been provided on the most approved principle, even in respect to minor arrangements. Operations will bo commenced on Friday, when the directors have arranged to throw the concern open to the public for inspection. Mr Geo. Watt has already entered upon liis duties as manager, and his services promise to afford every eatinfaction to all concerned. An abundant supply ot milk has been promised, and at a meeting of directors on Saturday it was agreed to give 4d a gallon for the supply. The directors deserve every credit for the expeditious manner in which the work has been carried out. A further call of 2s. Gd a a whare is announced, and as money is now required, it is hoped that the shareholders will not be backward in responding.
