TE AWAMUTU.

It is with sincere regret that I announce the death on Saturday morning, of Mrs Holden, wife of Mr Thomas Holden of Rangiaohia. The deceased lady was ill only a fortnight, and until the last two or three days hopes were entertained of her recovery. The funeral which took place at Rnngiaohia on Sunday was very largely attended by sympathising friends. The Rev. Heta Terawhita conducted the service. Mr Holdens many friends sincerely sympathise with him in his sad bereavement. — Own Coi respondent.
