THE FRANCO-CHINESE DIFFICULTY. London, December 11.
It is currently reported here that Earl GraiiTille, British Minister for Foreign Affairs, has announced to the Powers that he has abandoned the attempt to mediate between France and China. No official communication, however, has yet been published.
