Testimonial to Consul Griffin. Auckland, Wedneiday Nighfc. Consul Grifkix was presented with an addrass to-day, signed by the Mayors and Presidents of the Cnambers of Commerce of all New Zealand.
The Case of Ridings. Abraham Ridings has been committed for trial on three charges of indecent offences heard before the justices at P.ihi.
The Races. Owing to several Southern horses not having yet put in an appearance, speculation on the Auckland Cup has been dull this week. Supreme Court. The ne\t quarterly sessions of the Supreme Court for gaol delivery opens on the 7th pi ox.
