Bonme Prince's siie is the illustiious stud hoi se Piince, the pioporry of Mis Nimmo, Otago. Prince, for purity of breeding ami as a getter of prize stock, is unequalled in the colonies ; his stock having been sold for higher pi ices than ever was obtained for any other horse's stock in Otago. Piince is a bright bay, stands 16^ hands high; sire, Piince Charlie (imported); 'Jam, Piinetss Maud the Ibt (imported). Puree's sire, Punce Charlie, dark bay, foaled 1855, of the pure Clydesdale breed, imported from Scotland by J. and M. Macintosh, where he had been exhibited seven times and gained seven first prizes. Prince's dam, Prmce3s Maud the Ist, bay, foaled 1853, imported from Scotland by J. and M. Macintosh In Scotland, Piince&s Maud gained IS prizes, including a Silver Medal in Glasgow, when a three-year-old, against all ages. Gipsy, Bonnie Piince's dam, her sire the celebrated horse Emperor. Emperor has gained thiee first and three second pri/cs. E'npeior's sire N.ipoleon, im- ! poiteil hy the late J. Nimmo, gained first piize at the Bucklyve and Gaitmoie Agticnltiual Society's show as a two-year-old. Bonnie Piince, foaled 1879, is a beauti fnl blight bay, compartly built and of veiy snpciior action, and has proved himself a sine foal-getter, and has gained the following prizes : — First at the Dunedin Agricultural Show, 1SS0; first prize Taieri Agiicultural Show, 1880; first prize Dunedin Show, 1881 ; first prize Taieri Show, 1881 ; and same day first prize for best draught entire horse m the yaid ; first prize Dunedin Show, 1882; first prize Taieri Show, 1882, and first prize for best entire horse on the ground, any age ; also, first prize Palmerston Show, 1882; and first piize Blueskin Show, 18S2, and same day first prize for best horse or mare on the ground, thus finishing his show career up to date unbeaten.
