EXCURSION TRAINS Leave Auckland on December 24th and 3lst for Waikato stations. Fares : There and back, 10s and 12s 6d. (For particulars see posters at stations. December 24th and 31st, 6.20 a.m. ex Auckland runs to Hamilton West, and 2.0 p.m. ex Hamilton West runs to Auckland as on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. December 24th and 31st, 4.15 p.m. ex Auckland runs through to Te Awatnutu and Cambridge. DeceuVber 26th, January Ist and 2nd, 4.15 p.m. ex Auckland is postponed to 6 p.m., and on December 26th runs through to Te Awamutu and Cambridge. December 26th and January Ist, special trains leave Te Awamutu at 6.20 a.m.; Ohaupo, 6.37 a.m.; Hamilton West, 7 a.m.; Cambridge, 6.20 a.m.; Frankton June, 7.10 a.m.; Ngaruawahia, 7.45 a.m.; Huntly, 8.15 a.m.; Mercer, 9.40 a.m.; arriving at Racecourse platform at 12.15 p.m. TRAINS CANCELLED.
December 26th, January Ist and 2nd, 6.20 a.m., 10.10 a.m., and 10.50 a.m., trains ex Auckland ; .2.5 p.m., ex Hamilton West ; 11.50 a.m., ex Mercer; 11.45 a.m. ex Helensville ; also certain local trains are cancelled. Acceptances to be sent to Secretary on or before Thursday, 18th December, 1884. In the event of a walk over only 50 per cent of stakes will be paid. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of £2, which will be forefeited, should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious, aud in all cases the decision of the Stewards shall be final and binding.
