Waiorongomat, Monday. A subscription list which is being taken round soliciting aid in favour of the widow of the poor man Adair, who was killed at the Thames last week, is beinpf heartily responded to. It is believed that a sum of fiotn £20 tv £30 will be raised in the neighbourhood towards her more immediate wants. It i 9 understood that she has friends who are in a. fit position to help her when made acquainted with her indigent circumstances.
