BoNMh Prince's sire is the illustiions stud horse Piince, the pioperty of Mrs Nimmo, Otago. Prince, for purity of breeding and as a getter of prize stock, is unequalled in the colonies ; his &tock having been sold for higher prices than ever was obtained for any other horse's stock in Otngo. Prince is a bright bay, stands 16[t hands high; sire, Piincp Charlie (imported); d.am, Princess Maud the Ist (imported). Prince's sire, Prince Charlie, dark bay, foaled 1 555, of the pure Clydesdale breed, imported from Suotlaud by J. and M. Macintosh, where lie had been exhibited seven times and gained seven fir&t prizes. Prince's dam, Prince3S Maud the Ibt, bay, foaled 1853, imported from Scotland by J. and M. Macintosh. In Scotland, Princess Maud gained 18 prizes, including a Silver Medal in Glasgow, when a three-year old, against all ages. Gipsy, Bonnie Piinos's dam, her sire the celebrated horse Emperor. Emperor has gained thiee fir&t and three second prizes. E nperor's sire Napoleon, imported by the late J. Nimmo, gained firbt piize at the Bucklyve and Oartmore Agricultural Society's show as, a ts\oyear- old. Bonnie Prince, foaled 1879, is a beauti ful bright bay, compactly built and of very superior action, and has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and has gained the following prizes :— First at the Dunedin Agricultural Show, ISSO ; first prize Taieii "Agricultural Show, 1S80 : fiist prize Dunodin Show, 18S1 ; first prize Taieri Show, IS3I ; and same day first prize for best draught entire horse in the yard; first piize Dunedin Show, 18S2 ; first prize Taieii Show, 1882, and first prize for best entire horse on the ground, any age ; also, first prize Palmerston Show, 1882; and first piize Blueskin Show, ISS2, and same day first prize for best horse or mare on the ground, thus finishing his show career up to date unbeaten.
