The Purebred Clydesdale Stallion BONNIE PRINCE (Southern Champion, and winner of eleven First-class Prizes in Otago). For Pedigree and other particulars see cards. Bonnie Prince's sire is the illustrious stud horse Prince, the property of Mrs Nimmo, Otago. Prince, for purity of breeding and as a getter of prize stock, is unequalled in the colonies ; his stock having been sold for higher prices than ever was obtained for any other horse's stock in Otago. Prince is a bright bay, stands 16^ hands high ; sire, Prince Charlie (imported) ; dam, Piincess Maud the Ist (imported). Prince's sire, Piince Charlie, dark bay, foaled 1835, of the pnre Clydesdale breed, imported from Scotland by J. and M, Macintosh, where he had been exhibited seven times and gained seven first prizes. Prince's dam, Princes 5 ! Maud the Ist, bay, foaled 1533, imported from Scotland by J. and M. Macintosh. In Scotland, Princess Maud gained 18 prizes, including a Silver Medal in Glasgow, w hen a three-year-old, against all a«es. Gipsy, Bonnie Piince's dam, her sire the celebrated horse Empei or. Emperor ha& gained three fiist and three second prizes. Emperor's sire Napoleon, imported by the late J. Nimmo, gained first prize at the Bucklyxe and Gartmore Agricultural Society's show as a two-year-old. Bonnie Prince, foaled 1879, is a beauti ful bright bay, compactly built and of very supeiior actioi', and has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and has gained the following prizes :— First at the Dunedin Agricultural Show, 1880; first prize Taieri Agricultural Show, 1880 ; first prize Duuedin Show, 1881 ; first prize Taieri Show, 1SS1 ; and same day first prize for best draught entire horse in the yard ; first prize Dunedin Show, 18S2 ; first prize Taieii Show, 1882, and first prize for best entire horse on the ground, any age ; also, first prize Palmerston Show, 1882 ; and first prize Blueskin Show, 18S2, and same day first prize for best horse or mare on the ground, thus finishing his show career up to date unbeaten. Terms (for Feve or Bonnie Prince) : Five Guineas ; two or more mares as per agreement; payable 14th Januaiy, 1885. Good paddocking, Is Gd per week. Every care taken, but no responsibility.
