Mu Ali'iucd Buciuand's Weekly Rkrour. — At the H.iym.nki>t on Novembei 11, hay and stiaw at last week's value, oats maintained 1 tiling puces, chaff was slrtw of hale, only good lots being competed for. Horses were in full num-beu-i, those of tro'xl class bringing values satisfactory to hollers. Heavy draught, £30 ; medium, £U> to £20 ? hacks tully maintained their values, one of good class bunging £40. At Tuesday'" sale fodder kept to valno of Fiiday prtnious. The bido and skin market was fairly supplied, qualities ruled lower than at previous sale, but pi ices niled piopoitionately at past rates. Butcher's skin are still realis ing top prices, \i/,., U to it, lid ; lighter weights 2-> -Id to 3-> 11. Tallow was only in short supply, and of indiffeient quality. Small lot-, of wool were offered in bigs, bringing Ijd to ."•,'. Prices show an upwaid tendancy, and at the coming sale, December 3, it is anticipated tli.it' values will br moie satisfactory to growers than at last beason. At Pokeno on Monday all cattle were sold, reserves in all' cases being realised. At Diary sale young stock was plentiful, and two hundred and fifty head found buyers. At Koniuera on Thursday about 100 store cattle, piiucipally steers, wore yarded. Prices for grown and freshconditional stecis were fairly sustained, but two to thiec-year-old were at lower values. Fat cattle were in full numbers — prices fell considerably — and steers of giood quality ranged from 18* to 20s the 1001b-. l\it sheep were also in excess of requirements, and fell in pi iee — 2d for ewes and 2 UI for pi ime wethers were the ruling prices. Lambs, abundant, but fairly maintained late values ; and pigo were in better inquiry. Mkssk-.. Huntjt.k and Nolans Report. — Horses : A \eiy large number have been brought foi ward, and found purchasers. Abtnothe usual number .submitted at an ordinary sale were brought under the hammer at the special sale on Wednesday, and found pm chasers at an advance of fully £3 per head on market rates. The Durham yards were crammed on Friday ; bidding was slow except for favourite lots, and piiccs h id a tendency to recede as compared with the previous week. Wo quote : Hacks, fiom £4 to £2") ; harness horses, from £7 to £2(5 10s. Wool, skins, and hides: Demand good. The hides — pitched, of inferioi descuption — skins and wool ad vanced m value. Cattle : The supply has not been paiticululy large, but there has been a little slackness in the demand, consequently pi ices have ruled slightly in favom of the pm chaser as compared with the pievwusa woek. The Newmaiket y.nds were fairly well tilled on Tuesday, competition was not blisk, and pi ices foi fat and dairy weie a shade lower than on the previous week, stores without notewoithy alteration. Waikatoaveiages weie : Hetiti, £0 12s Gd; Westney, £7 lls; 8 htcois, Noble, £li 15s ; 8 steers, Hodgson, £8 10s. Sheep: Theie was lathei a short market on Tuesday, but there was a downward tendency in value. Wetheis sold at from lls Gd to "Ms <)d. Lambs : Plentiful ; sold at fioin (is to 13s. Pig-> were in average supply, and generally of good desciiption; prices langed from 2d to 3 Id per pound live weight.
