Bonmk Pius cb's sire is the illustiioiis stud horse Prince, the property of Mis Nimmo, Otago. Prince, for pmity of bleeding 1 and as a getter of prize stock, is unequalled in the colonies ; his stock having been sold for higher pi ices than ever was obtained for any other hoise's stock in Otago. Punce is a bright bay, stands W\ hands high ; sire, Prince Charlie (imported) ; dam, Princess Maud the Ist (impoited). Prince's sire, Pi nice Charlie, dark bay, foaled 1555, of the pure Clydesdale bleed, imported from Scotland by J. and M. Macintosh, where he had been exhibited seven times and gained seven lit st pii/cs. Piince's dam, Princes'* Maud the Ibt, bay, foaled IS.">3, imported fiom Scotland by J. and M. Macintosh. In Scotland, Piincess Maud gained 18 prizes, including a Silver Medal in Glasgow, when a thioc-year-old, against all ages. 11 Gipsy, Bonnie Prince's dam, her sire the celebrated hoise Empeioi. Empeior has gained thice fiist and three second pii/cs. Empeior's sire Napoleon, lmpoitcd by the late J. Nimmo, gained Hist pii/c at the Bucklyxe and Gaitmoie Agricultural Society's show as a twoyear old. Bonnie Prince, foaled 1879, is a beauti ful blight bay, compaotly built and of very supcuor actioi', and has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and has gained the follow incc prices : — J^iist at the Duncdin Agricultural Show, 1880; first pri/e Taieri Agricultural Show, ISBO ; first prize Dunedin Show, ISBI ; first pn/e Taieri Show, ISBI ; and same day first prize for best draught entire horse in the yard; fiist prize "Dunedin Show, ISS2 ; first prize Taieri Show, 1882, and fiist prize for best entiie hoiseou the giound, any age ; also, first prize Palmerston Show, ISS2; and first prize Blueskin Show, ISS2, and same day first pn/.e foi best hoise or marc on the giound, thus fiuishing his show caieer up to date unbeaten.
