Mr Ai.fkkd Buokuvnd's Wkkkly Repout.—At the Haymaiket on Fuday, Nover 4, fodder was at low values ; oaten hay at 3s Gd ; meadow hay, from Is (Id ; straw, lsGd the cwt; oats, 2^ lid and 3s the bushel j chatf, fiom £2 (is to £1 5s the ton ; horse stock were fairly repiesentod, and at late values. Medium di aught unbioken colts, from £12 to £10; the yearling by Ariel, 40 guineas; cirri ago hoise, £40; medium draught broken, £20 and £23 ; and a Courtland waggon, £30. At the hide and skin sale on Tuesday, late values weie sustained. Hido3 ranged from 2jd to 4^d thelb; tallow, 25s to 27s (Sd the cwt.; sheepskins, 2s lid to 0-> each ; long wool, (!d toGJdperlb. Diuimr the pas 4 , fortnight stock hag arrived from the coast in gieatly increased numbers. Prices have in consequence fallen. At Remuera, on Thursday, cuttle weie yarded laigely in excess of usual numberb, and prices realised were from 2s to 3s the lOOlbs less than last week ; shipbourne cattle wore at 20-. ; Auckland fatted up to 23s tho lOOlbs. The prize oxen were fairly competed for, and pm chased by Mr A. Carter. The shorthorn ok realised £20 12s Od, and the Heieford £17 15s. Fat calves in demand at full rate 1 -. Sheep were plentiful and at inegular values, but on the whole lower in price. The prize sheep were bought by Mr U. Giles and Mr A. Carter. Prices ranged from 23s to 25s 6d each. Lambs numerous, but maintained their position, good quality ranging from 10s to 16s. Store pigs abundant, and considerably lower in value. Small-sized fairly fattened pigs at late prices. Messrs. Hunter and Nolans Report. Horses: A large number have been brought forward, and generally found purchasers at fully the previous week's values, _ notwithstanding large lots being in transit for this market. The Durham yards were well filled on Friday, and with few exceptions those entered found purchasers. We quote : Heavy draught hoises, £25 to £35 ; harness horses, from £18 to £25 ; hacks, from £7 to £22 10s ; Wool, hides, and skins : There was a fair quantity of hides, but many were in bad condition, and sold l datively lower. We quote : hides, from l^d to 3^l per lb.; skins, from Is 8d to 4s 9d ; wool, n|dtoGdpcr lb. Cattle: A large number have been brought forwaid, and changed hands with but little alterations in value. There was quite an average muster at Nowmarket on Tuesday, and a large one at Pukekohe on Wednesday. Previous week's values for stores and dairy cattle were fully maintained. There was a large preponderance of cows in the butcheis pens, which had a depressing influence on average prices, which consequently receded fully Is per lOOlbs ; other stock without noteworthy alteration. Sheep: Above an average number have been penned, and a very largo number of lambs. The latter affected the price of sheep, and a i eduction in both resulted. The Newmaiket yarda were well filled on Tuesday. There vras a full attendance of buyeis, but prices were in favour of purchaser from Is to 2s each ; lambs sold at from 2s to 20-, Gd. Pigs : Very few yarded ; demand good.
