Mr Alexander Stuart, Premier, is greatly improved in health, and has now gone on a visit to the country. Brisbane, Friday. A bill providing for the payment of members was read a second time in the Assembly last night. Melbourne, Friday. The Agent-General in London telegraphs that it is not probable that the Federation Enabling Bill will be introduced in the Imperial Parliament during the present session. In the cricket match, commencing today, between the All England team and an eleven of Victoria, the latter will not be composed of any members of the AuatraliaD team which returned from England.
