On entering the straight for the last time, Fusilier, Dime. Liveipool, and Pearl were rajing neck and neck, but Dime and Pearl soon died away. At the distance, Black Rose came up with a lush, and a desperate race ensued all the way home between Liverpool, Fusilier and Black Rose, but the Litter lasting longest, and answering gamely to the whip, won by half a length from Fusilier, who was the same distance •ahead of Liverpool.
