A cricket match will take place here on Saturday next, the first match of the season, between an eleven of the Armed Constabulary and an eleven of the Kihikihi Cricket Club. Master Douglas Hill, a son of Vf r J. D. Hill, met with an accident on Monday last by being thrown from a horse and breaking his arm.
