Messrs W. J. Hunter and Co. report that at the Cambridge Horhe Salo on Saturday, November 1, u large (number of hoisen wore entered for sale. There was a c?ood demand for hacks and tr.ip horse*. Draughts and plough lioiics nero dull of sale. A good number exchanged hands. Hacks from £•"> to £10 10- ; medium draughts, from £15 to £16 each. At the Ohaupo Yards, on Tuesday, November 4th, the yards were again completely ci.unmed with stock, between 800 and 900 head yarded ; for dairy cattle there was better inquiry and nearly all in sold. Young stock sold freely al->o, especially steeic. ; for 2, 3, and 4 year old steers keen competition existed. Stoic cows were dull of sale and several pens w ithdrawn. Beef cattlo sold freely, all in hold, and a few fat ewes made 11s (id. A good number of horses exchanged hands at satisfactory prices'.
