CONSOLATION HANDICAP of 10 soys. for horses beaten during the meet* ing. Once round course. Entrance, soys. CONDITIONS. Entrance fee for all handicaps to be forwarded with nomination and colours, age and pedigree of horses, addressed to Mr Allwill, Cambridge ; Mr Scott, Kiliikihi ; or Mr W. Percival, Auckland not later than Thursday, the 20th November, 1884. Weights will appear in Auckland and Waikato papers on Monday, Ist December, 1884. Acceptances and general entries close with Messrs Scott, Allwill, and Percival, on Wednesday, the 3rd December, 1884. Weights for Stewards' Handicap will be declared half an hour after Spring Handicap has been run, and acceptances received up to a quarter of an hour before the race. In the event of a walk-over only 50 per cent of the stakes will be paid. Any Jockey riding except in the colours entered will be fined 2 soys. No entry will be received except upon the condition that all claims, disputes and objections arising, shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and their decision shall be final. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 3 soys which will be forfeited to the funds of the Club should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. The Rules of the Auckland Racing Club will be strictly adhered to. Ten per cent will be deducted from prize in each erent for second horse. JARED ALLWILL, For Secretary.
