[Received November 7, 12.50 p.m.] Disastrous Boiler Explosion. London, November 6. A disastrous boiler explosion occurred to-day at Bilston, Staffordshire. Four persons were killed and twenty injured.
The Cannibalism Cue. Londok, July 9. In the trial of Cnpt. Dudley and Stephens, the mate, of the yacht Mignonette, for the murder of Richard Parker, the accused were recommended to mercy. Accused Are now rolcaied on bail.
Illness of Mr Fawcett. The Right hon. Mr Fmwcetfc, Po«fc-master-General, is suffering from a Bevera attack of pneumonia.
Melbourne Tramways Loan. Tenders for the Melbourne tram way • loan of hnlf-a-million at 4J per cent. wer« opened to-day. The total amount offered was found to be £310,000.
