THURSDAY. Several bills were advanced, Wahanui vtm hoard at the bar of the Chamber, but his addrflSH wa? similar to that delivered before the House. A number of other meaiurei were advanced.
FRIDAY. The Legislative Council met at half-past two. Certain reports of the Native Affairs Committee and the Joint Library •Committee were ordered to be printed. The Native Land Alienation Restriction Bill was considered in Committee and ordered to be reported. Later in the sitting the Railway* Authorisation Bill was read a second time. On the motion of the Colonial Secretary, without dwussion, the Special Powers and Contract* Bill was considered in Committee, and was still in Committee when the Council adjourned .it 5 o'clock till 7.30 p.m.
