The battery is at present running 20 head for the New Find, 10 for the Colonibt, and 5 for the Canadian.* The reported find last week in the Premier is improving e\ciy day, and shows signs of a run of gold making down from the surface to the back. The stone now being obtained is the be^t e\oi bioken fiom the mine even in its most promising days. Election matters are quiet. It is probable that all the candidates nominated on Saturday will go to the poll.
