Wool, hides and skins : Demand good, but no heavy hides were pitched. We quote— hides, fiom 2t'd to 3\d ; .skins, from 2s 3d to ."is. Cattle : The supply has been a good one and the demand faiilv nctive, consequently theie has been little or no alteration in value. The Ncwinaikot Yards were well filled on Tuesday with all descriptions. A few pens of giown steers weie held o\er for the fair at Papakura on Monday, but other stock found pmchascis. Fat beasts at from 22s to 2(5s per lOOlbs. Thcio was no notewoithy alteiation in dairy and stoic stock. Sheep weie in adequate supply, and corresponding demand, prices being slightly in favour of ■vendor as compared with the previous week. Lambs weie plentiful, computing .slfipments from both the East and West Coasts. Trices ranged from 5s to 12s 9d. Pigs : A good many weie yaided, but the demand was good and prices did not recede. Mil Alfred Buckland's Wkekly Rerour. — At the Haymarket on Friday, October 24th, fodder was plentiful, prices for small loads deliveied Kinged fiom 2s 3d to 4s 3d the cwt, ; piesaed oaten hay, 3s 3d to 3s ltd the cwt. ; damaged maize, 2s Sd to 3s 3d the bushel. Hoi.se stock nuineious, but no fii\st-cla->s animals yaided ; prices weie without alteiation, diaft stock ranging fiom £15 to £31. At the hide and skin sale on Tuesday, late value foi hides weie obtained ; piijes langed from 2W to 4;jd ; tallow and fat fiom 11s to 235" the cwt. ; *-coured wool, 7d the lb. : Fleece wool in grease, s^d ; sheep-skins fiom Is to Is 5d each. At the Pap.fkma. sale yesterday, theie was a full muster both of stock' and buyois. Late piices weie fully sustained. At the Reinuera^sale on Thursday, dairy cattle weie in better demand than for the first few weeks, stoic cattle numeious and scaicely so high in price as at the fair. Fat cattle in full aveiage number and maintained their piiceof2(>s per lOOlbs. for good quality.
