(Received October 29, 2.15 p, m.) The Russian Frontier. London, October 28. News has been received that the members of the Anglo Russian Commission appointed to settle the demarcation of the northern fioutier of Afghanistan, have crossed the River Helmund into that country. They were mot by a large body of Afghans, who are now acting as an escort.
Austro-Hungarian Parliament. Vienna. October 28. The Austro -Hungarian Delegation waa opened to-day. The speech on the occasion said there was every reason to expect a long period of European peace.
The English Minister at Berlin. Berlin, October 28. Sir E. B. Malet, the newly-appointed British ambassador, arrived here to-day and had a cordial interview with Prince Bismarck.
