Thk papers in regard to the Soudan, laid before Parliament, show that General Gordon considers it impossible to leave Khartoum migovoriu <1. <iu<i Lord Wolseley's instructions are to bring away Geneial Gordon and ('olonel Stewart from Khartoum, ami that hu is forbidden to undertake »ny ulterior operations further than to show that England and Egypt have decided to refuse to govern the territory lying south of Wady-Halfa. Cairo, October 27. News is to hand from Dongola that the messengers who have returned there from the direction of Berber, state that no donbt can now be entertained that Colonel Stewart and the whole of his party were massacred by the rebels at Wad-el-Homer.
