The Age of Railway Employees. WKr.TJNoroN, Wednesday Night. Mil J. B. Win vk a^ked the Government this afternoon if they will lelax. as regards labourers the rale referring to the age over which no one can be employed on tho Government railways. Mr Richardson leplied that the bill did not apply to l.ibonreis although tho Department would always take young men in preference to men of more mature age.
Women's Franchise. Mr Lake pie&ented a, petition from Mrs C. Biidginan and 87 others, in favour of Local Option Extension, and that women enjoy the franchise.
