NELSON, Tuesday.

Bur ant and Mills' flour mill at Motueka, was destroyed by fire this afternoon. The fire commenced in the roof of the engine-room, but it is not known how it was caused. There was a heavy stock of wheat on hand, and only about ten tons were saved. The buildings were insured for £600, divided betweeD the Standard, South British and Victoria offices. The out-buildings were saved. The estimated loss on the building is £300 above the insurance, and the total loss £600, the contents being uninsured. There was also a quantity of wheat and flour belonging to other pei sons, also uninsured.
