At Pokeno on Monday last, a larger than usual imistcr of cattle met a steady demand, and at Drury on Wednesday there was a very large muster of cattle, near ;~>oo sold of all classes; young steers ranged fiom €4 10s to £5 13s each, and younger cittle at pronortionato prices. At Remuera, on Tlmrsday, the dairy and store cattle yarded were of indifferent [quality, and late values. Fat cattle were in less than u->ual number, and fully maintained last weekV pi ices, best quality reaching 28- the lOOlbs. No store sheep yarded; fat sheep in their wool slightly better worth ; shonibheep without alteration in value; fat latnbs abundant, several hundred yarded ; prices lower than last week, about one-thud, highest puce reached being lfo.
