HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Hungerford Roche, Esq., to be the Returning Officer to conduct the first elections of Commissioners for the Town District of Te Awamutn, as constituted under " The Town Districts Act, 18S1 ;" also to appoint Saturday, the Ist day of November, 1884, to be the time, and the Volunteer Hall, Te Awamutu, to be the place, for holding such first elections ; and also to appoint Saturday, the Bth day of Navember, 1884, at 7 p.m., to be the time, and the said Volunteer Hall to be the place, for htolding the first meeting of the Commissioners.
