All in met ready .sale at satisfactory prices. At tliu Cambridge Hoi>o Sale on Saturday, October 4th, only a limited number »>f hordes were biougnt forward. Good back*, weie in request, and many huh c could have been placed. At the Fnir held in the Ohanpo Yards on Tuesday, October 7th, about the largest number and best class of cattle yet shown weie yarded. Theie was also a very laige attendance of buyers fiom Taur.wga, Auckland, and the noighbouiing townships, and spirited competition existed tin onghout the sale. About 40 dairy cows sold freely. Choice speyed cows and neifeis in fresh condition, and grown hteers, were eagerly competed for. A largo number of •sheep, pimcipally owes and l.unbs, M>ld well. With few exceptions, .ill cattle sold.
