Hido and skin wale on Tuesday was more fully supplied than usual, and met a full muster of buyers ; sound hides ranged from 3d .to 4d 1-Kid the lb ; damaged, from lsd the' lb; tallow, 18s to 25s the cwt; sheepskins, la Id to 4s Id each ; wool, sjd the lb. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cows near their pro-it were genet ally in low condition and dull of sale. Store cattle were in full number and better worth than last week. Eat cattle in usual supply. Prices advanced ab.mt 2s the 1001b3 ; prime quality reached 2<>s the lOOlbs. Fat calves in demand at full rates. Sheep in good supply. Wethers at 3d the lb. Lambs were in brisk inquiry, and ranged from 11h to 20s Gd each. Pigs of all descriptions abundant and in demand at full values, particularly good stoic pigs. Waikato averages were —l 6 steers, R. Reynolds, £10 10s ; 8 oxen, James Taylor, £11 5s ; 7 steers, W. Taylor, £f) 18s ; 1(> steers, 0. J. Storey, £8 8s ; 8 steers, D. Caley, £8 18s ; (»0 wethers, W. Shepherd, 20s ; 100 wethers, W. Messrs Hunter and Nolans Wekkly Rrpokt. —Horses : The supply has been unusually large, and the demand good, consequently a largo number changed hands, and prices weie much in favour of the vendor as complied with previous iates. On Friday large shipments from both the East and West Coasts, together with the local supply, caused a regular cram in the Durham Yards. There was a good attendance of buyers. Competition was spirited throughout the sale, and generally prices were satisfactory to the seller. We quote : Hacks, from £5 to £22 10s ; light harness horses, £12 to £25: draught horses, fiom £25 to £42. Wool, hides, and skins: Supply short. Cattle: A very large number of stores, and scarcely an average number of dairy and fat beasts, ha»?o been yarded. Stores advanced slightly in value, other descriptions unaltered. At the Fair at Papakura on Monday, a \ oi y large number were catalogued. The principal buyers were Messis Bent and Vercoe. A good many stores found purchasers at Newmarket on Tuesday, and again at the regular «ale at Papakma, on Wednesday. There was no notewoithy change in the price of daii y and fat stock.
