Nkw.s is to hand of a gold discovery on the Tauranga side of the range, a f«*w miles distant from Watorongomai, and near the head of Watawheta creek, but no further particulars have yet been received. The finders names are Camp bell. McGeehan, and Fitzgerald. They have been prospecting for a month and are supposed to have been on the gold for some time.
