Bonnie Prince's sire is the illustrious stud horse Prince, the property of Mrs Nimmo, Ota«o. Prince, for purity of breedinar and as a getter of prize stock, is unequalled in the colonies ; his stock having been sold for higher prices than ever was obtained for any other horse's stock in Otago. Prince is a bright bay, stands 16.V hands high ; sire, Prince Charlie (imported) ; dam, Princess Maud the Ist (imported). Prince's sire, Prince Charlie, dark bay, foaled 1555, of the pure Clydesdale breed, imported from Scotland by J. and M. Macintosh, where he had been exhibited seven times and gained seven first prizes. Prince's dam, Princes* Maud the Ist, bay, foaled 1553, imported from Scotland by J. and M. Macintosh. In Scotland, Princess Maud gained 18 prizes, including a Silver Medal in Glasgow, when a throe-year-old, against all a«es. Gipsy, Bonnie Piince's dam, her sire the celebrated horse Emperor. Emperor has gained three first and three second prizes. E-nperor's sire Napoleon, mipoited by the late J. Nimmo, gained first prize at the Bncklyve and Gartmoie Agricultiual Society's show as a twoyear old. Bonnie Piince, foaled 1579, is a beautiful bright bay, compactly built and of very supcuor action, and has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and has gained the following prizes :— First at the Dunedin Agricultural Show, 1880; first prize Taieri Agricultural Show, 1880; fiist prize Dunedin Show, 1881 ; first prize Taieri Show, 1S81 ; and same day first prize for best draught entire horse in the yard ; first prize Dunedin Show, 1S82 ; first prize Taieri Show, 1882, and first prize for best entire horse on the ground, any age ; also, first prize Palmerston Show, 1882 ; and first prize Blueskm Show, ISB2, and same day first prize for best hoise or mare on the ground, thus finishing his show career up to date unbeaten. Terms (for Feve or Bonnie Piince) : Five Guineas ; two or more marcs as per agreement; payable 14th January, 1883. Good paddocking, Is 6d per week. Every care taken, but no responsibility. No Business done on Sundays. fTiHE THOROUGHBRED POPULAR 1 HORSE ARIEL, By Dainty Ariel, dam Una, Winner of Auckland Derby and Dunedin Jockey Clnb Handicap in 1876" ; won Auckland Cap, carrying Sst. 21bs., and Canterbuiy Cup in 1577 ; won Auckland Cup, carrying Sst. 131b5., and Forbury Handicap ; also, North Ota^o lurf Club Handicap, carrying lOst. lib., in 187S ; and in the following year carried Sst. lOlbs. to victory m the Auckland Cup, from a field of thirteen starters. ARIEL will travel this season as under : — Monday — Te Awamutu, Rangiaohia and Te Rahu Tuesday —At Homo, Cross Roads, Te Awamutu Wednesday— Ohaupo. Pukerimu to Cambridge, and stay at Buckland's farm Thursday — Tamaheie, Camp's Hotel, till 2 o'clock ; ftom thence home thiough Ohaupo Friday and Saturday — At Home, WILLIAM BOND, Cioss Roads, Te Awamutu.
