NELSON, Saturday.

The Roy. W. St. Clan- Tisdale had a narrow escape of being killed yesterday afternoon. He and Mrs Tisrlale were tiding through Upper Wakefield when a runaway horse in a cart came suddenly on them. Mrs Tisdale managed to get away, but Mr Ti&dalc \was not so fortunate. The shaft of the cart went right thiough his horse, and he himself wa& thiown some distance. He fortunately escaped with a tew bruises, but las horse had to be dcstioyed
