Svdnky, September The Colonial Treasurer made a supplementary Fiuancul Statement iv the Legislative Assembly last night. He stated that the income of the colony was highly satisfactory, and there was every reason to believe that the estimate of the Customs receipts would be fully realised, «v well as the leceipts from the stamps and land revenue. He announced that a loau for five millions sterling will shortly be placed on the market in London, and he believed it could be offered with advantage at 3V per cent. In the Legislative Assembly last night, a motion by Mr Buchanan in favour of the imposition of an ad valorem duty of 5 per cent, was negatived by 3S to 2.
