[Received September 17th, 1.15 p.m.] Svcxey, Wednesday. Further cases of small-pox have occuiral in Kent-street in the heait of the city. Eight persons have been placed in quarantine. It has transpired that the Government has given notice to the Pacific Mail Company to terminate the 'Frisco mail contract in November next, but that the service will be continued for the full term of two years, that is until November, 1883.
Adelaide, Wednesday. Intelligence is to hand from the Northern Territory that a party of police followed for, and came up to, the blacks who recently attacked a party of miners, a'i(l that m the engage nent which took place four blacks were.killed.
