Wells was unanimously elected to fill this office. The Speakei was conducted to his chair by his pioposei and sccondei, Mi Dyer and the P«e\ Ii I. Dewsbuiy. The Yen Aichdeacon Willis was unanimously elected Cnannian of Committpcs. The otiico of (Jo\cmoi Mas accepted by Mr \V. L. C. Williams, to which position he was unanimously elected. Mr D>er stated that at the i oquest of the Uovei nor he had fo lined a Go\cininent, which con--lsted of himself ns Fiemier, Mr J. F. Kdgai ii-a Seuetdiy, Mr T B leui^as I'iea^uiei, and Mr Foin.st as Minister for Accommodation. A statement of policy was then icad by the Uo\emor.
